The second quarter of 2021 saw notable trends in the performance of the top 5 news and magazines apps in Latin America. Data from Sensor Tower reveals insights into weekly downloads, active users, and revenue for these leading applications.

NewsBreak: Local News & Alerts experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 51K in late March and peaking at nearly 265K by mid-June. The app's weekly active users also showed a steady increase, growing from around 614K to 1.47M over the same period.
